Dear Stakeholders,

We’d love your input! The Seattle Office of Labor Standards is developing a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to fund business community outreach and education on Seattle’s labor standards laws, directed toward small businesses with an emphasis on outreach to the minority, immigrant, and refugee business community. The City allocated $275,000 in 2016 for this important work. The Office of Labor Standards will award funding to one or more organizations to work directly with businesses and business organizations.

Please join us for a Stakeholder Meeting on Wednesday, March 2 so that we can hear your thoughts about the business community’s needs and solutions to those needs. We value your presence and your perspective as we move forward with the development of the RFP. At the meeting, we also plan to preview our new Labor Standards Workplace Poster, and hope to get your feedback on our design and content.
